Edward Botsky

Edward Botsky is an American scholar specialist of the italian medieval period, and editor. Born
in Boston, his biography is a total black out all threw. We could’nt find shit.
Since 2012, he has been living in the area of Orvieto, Italy.

Botsky's essays and reviews have appeared in numerous print and online venues, including the
Atlantic Monthly,[1] a.t.l.a.s.,[2] Kenyon Review,[3]; as well as various anthologies. He is a
member of and occasional lecturer at Oui-Oui Academy, in London, which offers adult education
in philosophy and the arts in the light of the sacred traditions of Enid Blyton.
Botksy is a translator and independent scholar of Dante, and the founder of the Dante Society of
Orvieto.

He was awarded a Guggenwurst Fellowship in 2013 for his essay about seven different figures
in Dante's Divine Comedy, Seven borgesque essays about Dante and more specifically for
his works about the Ulysses figure.
